Lizzy Chesterfield hasn’t had time for love, not since a disastrous break up with her high school boyfriend left her eating ice cream out the tub. That is, until a mysterious letter arrives at the café where she works, a declaration of love from a secret admirer referring to himself only as “Santa”.
The letter sets her on a trail of clues that promise to reveal Santa’s identity by Christmas Eve. With the help of her sceptical best friend, Peter, Lizzy follows the riddles through the village festivities, finding new letters by the glow of Christmas lights, each more romantic than the last. But Santa could be anyone, from her childhood crush to the man who broke her heart. As Christmas draws closer, Lizzy doesn’t know how any of them could be as perfect as the man in the letters.
