I am a graphic designer, illustrator and artist who has been working in design and print for over 20 years. After studying BA (Hons) Illustration at the University of Lincoln, I have thrown myself into the creative world and had many roles within print and design. Books are a great area to work in as it is an opportunity to blur the lines of creative disciplines.

The total cost of an illustration project is calculated to include 4hrs of author liaison time, so that the author is fully involved in the illustration process. 

Cost Per Illustration x Number of Illustrations + 4hrs of Author Liaison Time for the Illustration Process (£142.23) = TOTAL COST

​Illustration Styles

 Style Three - Realism - Using oil paints, a fine detailed approach to creating artwork and illustrations, suitable for both inner pages and cover imagery. This style is more time consuming than others and more time would be needed for completion.

 Style Four - Loose palette knife - Using oil paints, this expressive style is vibrant and can stand out, suitable for both inner pages and cover imagery.

 Style Five - Line - Using Indian Inks via a dipping pen and brush, this style can utilise a lot of colours and is ideal for inner page illustration.
