Who are you? Tell us a little bit about yourself...
Hi! I’m Ben Cole-Edwards! I’m an author, investor, certified life coach and above all else, a father! I’d like to think in a mindset expert and would class myself as a preacher of the Law of Attraction!
What first inspired you to start writing?
The inspiration behind writing Retired At 25 was to spread the messages and lessons that I’d learned in regards to being able to create your own reality using manifestation techniques! We can all win!
What made you want to work with Rowanvale and be published?
I’d previously worked with Rowanvale a few years back with two crime/thriller novels so I knew how professional and friendly they were!
When you’re not writing, what are you reading?
I read a LOT but mainly to improve my mindset and to better understand the Universal Law of Attraction! Currently reading ‘Ask and It Is Given’ by Jerry & Esther Hicks and ‘Limitless’ by Jim Kwik.
Which work are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of my book Retired At 25, especially after seeing the response in the first week alone! We sold out and rapidly climbed the rankings to make it into the top 100 (and even top 10) in several categories!
What’s your best advice for handling writer’s block?
Just relax, put everything away and go for a walk! Open your mind and allow new potential avenues to flow into your mind.
What’s one thing you always have with you when you’re writing?
Absolutely nothing, zero distractions are ideal!
What is the one book you would take with you if you were stuck on a desert island?
‘Think And Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill.
What is the best part about being an independently published author?
The best part is not having to stick to a word count. So many books could be half the length with the same message if they didn’t have to waffle to reach a certain amount of words!
What’s next for you?
I’m currently 30,000 words into my next book!
