November 1995 - Dr Jimmy Greenhalg’s body is found on a Norfolk beach, handcuffed  to a shipwreck and left to drown in the incoming tide. 
 
Eight months earlier a meningitis outbreak killed six of his patients. None of them responded to the antibiotics which should have saved them. A nurse  was suspected of interfering with their treatment but any evidence against her was circumstantial and she was allowed to continue working under supervision.  
 
But the deaths continued. 
 
Now Jimmy has joined the dead and taken the unthinkable truth of  the outbreak to his watery grave. But what had he learned, and who  would kill him to keep that secret?
