Dominique Kent-Saisch, a young talent from Reading, has produced a wonderful tale in which a little girl turns into a swan. This little girl and her father walk by a river every day, and she loves the swans so much she becomes the Swan Girl. While the little girl is very happy, her father becomes sad and eventually the little girl becomes human again and rejoins her family. This picture book uses magic and fantasy to teach the importance of love and family, as well as celebrating the beauty of the countryside. With fantastic illustrations provided by Callum Graham, and a setting close to the author's hometown, The Swan Girl is the perfect children's story to share.
