Perhaps One Day is filled with Jenni Wyn Hyatt’s childhood memories and accounts of her personal life, both poignant and humorous; it also reflects on deeper themes such as nature, the tragedy of war and social commentary. Most of her poems are written with traditional rhyme and metre, with poetic forms such as the ballad, the sonnet, the villanelle and many more rubbing shoulders. All, however, are clear and accessible to poets and non-poets alike.
