Perhaps One Day - Jenni Wyn HyattJenni Wyn Hyatt
Perhaps One Day is filled with Jenni Wyn Hyatt’s childhood memories and accounts of her personal life, both poignant and humorous; it also reflects on deeper themes such as nature, the tragedy of war and social commentary. Most of her poems are written with traditional rhyme and metre, with poetic forms such as the ballad, the sonnet, the villanelle and many more rubbing shoulders. All, however, are clear and accessible to poets and non-poets alike.
Although she writes in English, Jenni is Welsh to the core and, true to her heritage, her poems sing to the reader with clarity and compassion, sincerity and humour, intensity and truth. Readers will return to this collection again and again, each time finding a new facet to explore and enjoy. Genre: Poetry
