Marketing Strategies for 2019
1. Start Early
If you begin marketing your book before it is released, you will create a certain amount of hype and anticipation about it, meaning that it will hopefully fly off the shelves on release day!
2. Promote, Promote, Promote
Make sure that you are consistent with your marketing strategies, and that you have a new one in the works each month. These don’t need to be big, elaborate campaigns, though; it could be as simple as promoting your eBook, running a giveaway on your social media channels, or even just adding a seasonal twist to your regular marketing efforts. The important thing is that you do something, however small, to keep your fan base engaged.
3. Speaking of Fan Bases, Build Yours Up
In 2019, having a dedicated fan base for your book is going to be even more important than ever. As such, you need to make sure that you communicate and stay in touch with your readers on a regular basis.
One way of doing this is a monthly newsletter, like “The Write Stuff”, which – if subscribed to – could include details of upcoming author events and book signings; competitions and giveaways; and perhaps even a sneak peek at the next project you’ll be working on!
